Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, one of the Beatles' most famous records, is to be re-recorded by some of the biggest names in music. The Killers, Razorlight and Oasis are among the bands that will cover tracks from the legendary album.
BBC Radio 2 are organising the event, to mark the album's 40th birthday. The album includes some of the most celebrated pop songs of all time, such as Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and A Day in the Life.
The new recording will be broadcast on June 2nd, on Radio 2.
